Morphological, Anatomical and Palynological Features of Alyssum strigosum s. l. (Brassicaceae)

Alyssum strigosum Banks & Sol. subsp. and A. cedrorum (Schott Kotschy) Dudley, which are two subspecies of with their morphological, anatomical, palynological traits, were presented in detail this study. The anatomical analysis has been carried out using handmade sections. transverse sections roots showed that have similar characters as primer structure. stem reflected the typical dicotyledonous structure determined species oval shaped cortex parenchyma. vascular bundles arranged one row both examined species. mesophyll type was detected equifacial. monad, isopolar, prolate tricolpate pollen grains. For species, exine sculpture observed reticulate. As a conclusion, characteristics supporting separation subspecies.
